Bangkok travel guide

Bangkok is loud, hot, delicious, and exhausting in the best way. The street food is among the best in the world. The river divides old (temples, palace) from new (skybar towers). Don't expect to walk far — heat plus traffic — use BTS, metro, river boats, and tuk-tuks.

When to visit

Best months: Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb

Cool dry season. Even then it's hot — just less so.

Avoid: March-May are blistering. June-October is wet season with daily storms.
