Dublin travel guide
Dublin is a small capital that rewards conversation. The pub is the cultural unit. Temple Bar is touristy; the real pubs are everywhere else. Don't try to do too much — the joy is in lingering.
When to visit
Best months: May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep
Summer has long days and the best chance of dry weather. Bring a rain jacket regardless.
Avoid: Winter is dark and wet.
