Mexico City is one of the great food cities of the world right now. Roma, Condesa, and Polanco have the destination restaurants; the taquerias and tortas have the soul. Stay central — the city is huge and traffic is heavy.
When to visit
Best months: Mar, Apr, Oct, Nov
March-May has the best weather. October-November is also lovely. Day of the Dead in late October-early November is special.
Avoid: June-September rainy season brings daily afternoon storms.
