Prague travel guide
Prague survived World War II largely intact, which is why the medieval core looks like a fairytale. The Old Town is touristy but worth a morning. Beer is excellent and cheap.
When to visit
Best months: Apr, May, Sep, Oct
Spring and fall. May has the best weather and lighter crowds than peak summer.
Avoid: December markets are charming but very crowded; July-August are packed.
Where to stay

Lesser Town (Malá Strana)
baroque, below the castle · best for evening walks
